Split Case Pumps

Crane Engineering offers split case pumps for applications requiring high flow rates in a compact design. These pumps are great for applications in power plants, cooling tower circulation, water tower supply, and fire pumps.

A split case pump is a centrifugal pump that has two internal inlets to the impeller, ie. double suction, supported between bearings. Split pump casings are split axially, meaning that the pump casings come apart. The split makes it easier for technicians to access and service the inside of the pump without distributing the drive.
