Food Grade Tank Lining

Challenge:

After many years of service, the corrosive effects of this food ingredient had clearly taken its toll; the tank needed a new lining. During a scheduled downtime and under confined space requirements, Crane Engineering got to work.

Solution:

• Sandblasting was used to remove all traces of rust and corrosion
• FDA approved 7133 epoxy was used to coat the tank and supporting angle iron

Results:

• Installation was completed within the scheduled timeframe
• Was ready for use when production resumed
