PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

For over 50 years, the Silent Check Valve has been the preferred means of silent, low-cost backflow prevention. A short stroke and spring-assisted closure make the Silent Check Valve the fastest closing check valve, and significantly reduce surge pressure that leads to shock and water hammer associated with reversal or stoppage of fluid flow. 

Threaded, wafer style, and globe style configurations from 1/2" to 42" are all suitable for horizontal or vertical lines with upward or downward flow directions. These versatile check valves are certified lead-free, with certifications for drinking water and fire protection systems available. All Val-Matic valves are manufactured in facilities certified to ISO 9001.
