PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Val-Matic Air/Vacuum Valves, also known as large orifice valves, are designed to protect clean water pipelines by allowing large quantities of air to be exhausted or admitted during filling or draining operations. When the pipeline is being drained, the valve's float drops, permitting air to enter and prevent vacuum conditions, potential pipeline collapse, and damaging water column separation.

Manufactured under a certified ISO 9001 quality system, these valves feature unconditionally guaranteed T316 stainless steel floats, 316 stainless steel internal trim, and exclusive high/low-pressure resilient seating. Available in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 20", Val-Matic Air/Vacuum Valves provide maximum protection with full pipe-size inlets and outlets.
