The Sterile Access port is designed to provide optimal access to the interior of the valve body, situated at the lowest cross-sectional point of the waterway. This port facilitates easy access when the valve body is positioned at the ideal drain angle in a horizontal piping system. Available with various tube extension lengths and end connections, the Sterile Access port can be used for sampling, condensate drainage, or as a divert port, making it versatile for multiple applications.
The GMP fabrication enhances the design of point-of-use outlets in a WFI distribution loop, virtually eliminating dead legs. The process fluid flows seamlessly through the valve body, and as needed, the valve opens to provide uncontaminated samples free from bacterial growth or other contaminants. Additionally, this outlet can serve as a steam condensate drain or divert port. The valve body is specially modified to accept a third port of the same diameter or smaller, positioned adjacent to the weir at the bottom of the valve, ensuring efficient and clean operation.
