The DFT® Model WLC® Wafer Style Check Valve provides reliable, low-maintenance water hammer and backflow prevention for industrial process applications under a wide range of pressure and temperature conditions. The lightweight, spring-assisted, center-guided, non-slam, in-line check valves feature a sealed joint between the seat ring and body that prevents leakage from the joint during operation.
Compatible with ANSI and API flange standards, the compact wafer body design enables easy installation between pipe flanges or at equipment nozzles. Available in sizes from 1” to 10”, these unique check valves are suitable for horizontal or vertical orientation. The WLC check valve is available in diverse body materials: A216 Grade WCB carbon steel and A351 CF8M stainless steel standard, with optional materials including Alloy 20, titanium, duplex stainless steel, Inconel® 625, and Hastelloy®.
DFT®, formerly known as Durabla® Fluid Technology, has been making in-line check valves and severe service control valves for over 70 years. It started with a customer’s need for a small metal-seated check valve that could be installed in any position while providing tight shut-off. The Basic-Check® valve was developed to satisfy that need. Over the following decades, other customers’ needs led to the development of the ALC®, BNC®, DLC®, DSV®, Excalibur®, FBC™, GLC®, GPV™, PDC®, SCV® , TLW® and WLC® styles of in-line silent axial flow check valves. Each of these DFT® in-line check valves addresses the particular needs of today’s customer.
