PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Series WCV Wafer Style Check Valve is a revolutionary new valve design engineered specifically for water applications. This valve operates solely on line pressure and back pressure to open and close, requiring no external energy source. As line pressure builds, the elastomeric flapper disc is pushed away, allowing water to pass through. The memory of the rubber causes the flapper disc to return flat, and back pressure seals the flapper against the plate to prevent backflow. The WCV Check Valve is designed for installation between two mating flanges, making it ideal for strictly fluid applications.
