PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Automatic Turbo-Disc Filter is a fully automatic, self-cleaning disc filter system available with or without pumps, in single-pod or multiple-pod designs, on a stainless steel skid assembly. Suitable for full-stream, side-stream, and slip-stream applications, Turbo-Disc filters feature lightweight 3D polypropylene filter cartridges that minimize backwash water compared to conventional sand filters. 

Onboard controllers with differential pressure monitoring automatically trigger the backwash sequence when filters require cleaning. The stainless steel housings have quick-release lid clamps for rapid access and easy maintenance. Custom-engineered turnkey filtration systems are available.

PERFORMANCE

• Single filter pod flow rates: 2”/70 GPM, 3” GPM. (Maximum flow rates will vary with water quality, solids, disc media micron size, and number of pods.)
• Pressure: all systems rated up to 125 psi.
• Temperature: all systems rated up to 140°F (60°C).
• Disc media micron size options: 50 microns (≈ 250 mesh), 100 microns (≈150 mesh), 130 microns (≈120 mesh), 200 microns (≈ 80 mesh).
