Miller Leaman Thompson Strainer

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Thompson Strainer is a patented stainless steel strainer that utilizes a large conical screen to provide dramatically increased screen surface area compared to typical basket strainers and y-strainers. The Thompson Strainer also employs a unique bottom-up flow pattern that causes heavier particulates and debris to accelerate downward into a flushable reservoir at the strainer base. 

High screen surface area and upward flow pattern allow these highly efficient stainless steel strainers to operate with less than 1 PSI pressure loss at maximum flow when clean. Thompson Strainers are suitable for an array of applications, with customizable mesh screens from approximately 50 microns to large perforated hole openings available. Instrumentation and rinse options are also available.

• Heavy duty screen sizes from 112-117 microns (24x110 mesh) to 55-60 microns (50x250 mesh).
• Perforated screen sizes from 1/4 inch to 5/64 inch.
