PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Jarecki HSVP Series metal seated pocket ball valve is proven in the field to be the most durable valve on the market. Jarecki recognizes that a rugged application requires a rugged valve. The seats and ball edges are both specifically hardened with Colmonoy, a material which is 50% harder than Stellite. The ball outer surface is chrome carbide coated, providing one of the hardest surfaces available. Cleaning ports are provided to add life of the valves. An oversized blow-out proof stem is utilized for added torque capabilities. The Jarecki HSVP is specifically designed for the Pulp and Paper Industry.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Ball

• Ball edges are both specifically hardened with Colmonoy, a material which is 50% harder than Stellite. The ball outer surface is chrome carbide coated, providing one of the hardest surfaces available.
• Tight connection between the ball and stem allows for virtually no hysterosis. Also, the ball remains on center during the entire 180 degree rotation. This is crucial for repeatable performance during constant operation.
• Open port in the ball allows for total cleaning of the valve body and ball during the dump cycle

Seats

• Seats are Colmonoy hardfaced which is 50% harder and more wear resistant than Stellite
• A scraper design is used to wipe the ball face during rotation to increase the life of the valve
• A double seal design prevents build up of sand behind the seat which can cause the valve to lock up in service
