The Goulds HS and HSD horizontal hydro-solids pumps are designed to eliminate the clogging problems often encountered with conventional centrifugal pumps when handling challenging fluids. The recessed impeller design allows these pumps to effectively handle large particle solids and fibrous or stringy materials without compromising performance. Any spherical solids that can enter the suction, up to 10 inches in diameter, will pass through the discharge without causing blockages.
