Crane FKX 9000 Triple Offset Valves (TOV) are uniquely suited for industrial environments where high or low temperatures prevent the use of rubber lining elements: e.g., systems using large bore butterfly valves to manage hot steam or isolate areas of a facility. The TOV’s quarter-turn opening and closing provide rapid closing times often needed for safety applications and to facilitate automation. The TOV also requires less structural support to ensure bubble-tight shut-off making it an affordable alternative to ball valves.
The TOV features an innovative seat angle and Stellite hard-faced body to deliver prolonged seal life and increased abrasion resistance over traditional butterfly valves. Precision machined metal sealing enables reliable bi-directional shutoff for severe services. Reduced disc binding and operating torque combine to cut the total cost of ownership in half.
The portfolio of CRANE® brand valves today is focused on delivering value. With a complete range of bronze, cast iron, cast steel, resilient-seated butterfy valves and ball valves, Crane has a valve for your needs. With CRANE's long history and acceptance in industry, there is a large installed base of CRANE valves around the world.
