PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SurgeShield ASME-certified pulsation dampeners and surge vessels are designed to protect pump systems from the damaging effects of pulsation and water hammer. These essential components act as shock absorbers, absorbing or releasing the energy that results from transient events such as pump start-up, shut-down, and rapid valve opening/closing.

Available in 15, 25, and 37-gallon capacities, SurgeShield vessels feature a bladder-style hydropneumatic design with changeable air control. The slim, space-conscious units are constructed from stainless steel or carbon steel and offer a maximum pressure rating of 250 PSIG. By preventing pump and valve deterioration, pipeline failure, and loss of system control, SurgeShield helps avoid costly repairs and downtime.
