Mobile Septage Treatment System (MSTS)

Crane Engineering participated in a grant which included developing a mobile water treatment system to serve under-developed countries with contaminated water sources. 




Usage Examples

1. Pit-to-Pit Scenario
Pit-to-pit requires multiple stops per day. A waste truck accompanies the MSTS to haul concentrated waste to a treatment plant.

2. Transfer Station Scenario 
Multiple trucks come to a semi-stationary and centrally located processor. The processor operates during normal working day hours.

3. FSTP Scenario
Continuous operation onsite at a fecal sludge treatment plant.

MSTS: We Arrived! 

After 3 flights and over 14 hours of flight time, we arrived safely in Accra, Ghana!  During our layover in JFK, we met with four people from the JSA consulting group who helped organize the learning trip and will help us with further development work.
