Crane’s technical support services provide innovative, cost reduction solutions for maintaining your fluid systems. Crane provides asset management, installation, and training programs designed to optimize your fluid system performance at the lowest operating cost.

Asset Management
- Crane maintains serial number records for all equipment documenting the original design and scope of the equipment. Troubleshooting and changes are done effectively with the knowledge of how the equipment was supplied and for what application and operating conditions.
- Installed equipment surveys are cross referenced with customer stocked parts and Crane’s inventory to help you minimize the money tied up in your inventory while still maintaining the rapid availability of the assets required to support your operations.
- Depending on the circumstances, an inventory management scheme may be employed. With this service, the inventory cost is carried on Crane’s balance sheet, reducing the working capital required by the customer.
- Pump and valve energy surveys insure an optimum control scheme of either VFD’s or control valves employed to reduce the life cycle cost of the system, as measured by the customer.
- Crane employs VDS technology to footprint the control valves in your plant. Documenting stiction, overshoot, hysteresis, response time, and accuracy to help insure that variability is reduced in your control scheme, and thus your costs are reduced and quality is improved.
Installation
Installation and operation costs of rotating equipment are reduced by using laser alignment of the equipment and motor drivers.
Training
Training at Crane’s facility or on site is available from Crane for equipment: engineering and sizing, troubleshooting, installation, operation and repair. |
