Recently, the Green Bay facility needed to build a tank farm for blending solutions used in their manufacturing process.  They were considering putting in a number of large tanks and a blend room for blending the liquids.  Nice Pak turned to Crane to help create a solution.  Crane proposed blending the products “in line”.  Crane’s solution would be to build a skid that would accurately blend up to four raw ingredients very accurately in line.  Crane engineers designed a system that would pull one raw ingredient from a header and then the other three (which make up only a small percent of the total) would be pulled from totes or drums.
